Stage 5 subject selection process
To assist students in selcting their Stage 5 elective subjects, copies of the subject selection booklet will be available soon. A Stage 5 subject selection information evening will be held in Term 3 (date and time to be advised).
During Term 3 - Weeks 4 and 5, students should research the subjects they are interested in and ones they might not know much about. Students can do this by asking questions at their Year 8 meeting or speaking to the faculty teachers and/or head teacher.
Year 8 students will be sent a link and unique password for the subject selection survey via their school emails early in Term 3.
Students will need to follow the link to select 2 x 200-hour electives, 2 x 100-hour electives and some reserves. These surveys will be due by Week 7, Term 3).
We will process all student survey results and allocate students to subjects. Each student will receive a letter outlining what subjects they have been allocated for Stage 5.
