Creative and performing arts (CAPA) is a dynamic and active faculty encompassing the subjects of visual art, music and photography.
Students are encouraged to explore their creativity and showcase their talents through performances and public presentations.
Each week on assembly students have the opportunity to do a musical performance or display their art and photography works through visual presentations.
In Term 4, the CAPA showcase evening is an opportunity for all music, visual art and photography students to showcase their talents and achievements for the year.
In Year 7 all students study visual art and music.
In Year 8 all students have the opportunity to study visual art and music as elective subjects.
In Years 9 and 10 visual arts, music and photography are elective subjects that can be studied as 100 hour or 200 hour electives.
In Years 11 and 12 can have a wider selection of visual arts, music, photography, entertainment and visual design as elective subjects.
All students are encouraged to pursue their interests and areas of talent and to take advantage of the many opportunities to showcase their achievements in a supportive and nurturing environment.
