100 hour course (1 year)
This dynamic and engaging 1 year Information & Software Technology course allows students to explore a variety of software and hardware solutions, develop collaborative skills and implement and evaluate technology-based solutions.
The 100 hour course is a great introduction into the world of IT, its purpose in our lives, society and ultimately its industry. The course enables the student to learn valuable skills for life and teaching them to become savvy consumers and creators.

200 hour course (2 year)
Building the capacity of our previous Information & Software Technology students, this 2 year course allows students to explore robotics, software development and coding. The 200 hour course increases students’ skills with a range of interesting and engaging activities. Creativity, innovation and design are put to the test in this course.

Information & Software Technology Focus Areas
There are eight focus areas:
- Artificial Intelligence, Simulation and Modelling
- Authoring and Multimedia
- Digital Media
- Database Design
- Internet and Website Development
- Networking Systems
- Robotics and Automated Systems
- Software Development and Programming
Students undertaking the 100 hour course are required to complete 3–4 focus areas. Students studying the 200 hour course are required to complete 6–8 focus areas
