High potential and gifted education
Some students learn more quickly or demonstrate advanced abilities in areas such as creativity, problem-solving, leadership or sport.
At our school, we recognise and nurture these talents through lessons and activities that challenge, inspire and support high potential and gifted students to grow and thrive.
Visit the NSW Department of Education for advice and resources for parents and carers of high potential and gifted students.
What is high potential and gifted education?
High potential and gifted education (HPGE) is how our school supports students with advanced learning needs and talents.
We do this through:
- effective teaching strategies, including enrichment, extension and acceleration
- tailored classroom support that stretches, challenges and inspires students
- access to a wide range of opportunities within and beyond our school.
