Our co-curricular highlights
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and connect their learning to the wider world.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and visual arts programs encourage creativity and self-expression. Students can take part in concerts, exhibitions, performances and school showcases throughout the year.
Prosperitas
Participating students design and lead independent projects – from science experiments and creative writing to community service and technology. Students explore their passions and showcase innovation at the annual Prosperitas celebration.
Duke of Edinburgh's International Award
Students undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award build resilience, leadership and independence through service, physical activity, skills development and adventurous journeys.
Library events
Our library hosts a diverse calendar of engaging events, from celebrations of significant days to trivia challenges and workshops. These activities help students feel included and connected to the Quakers Hill High School community.
Debating and public speaking
Students develop confidence, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking, with opportunities to compete at local and state levels.
Barista program
The barista program gives students hands-on experience in hospitality while developing teamwork, communication and organisational skills. Participants earn a certificate recognising their professionalism and ability to work under pressure.
Special interest clubs
Students can join a wide range of clubs based on their interests, including arts and crafts, chess, dance, cultural groups and service clubs – offering fun and meaningful ways to connect and contribute.
